Mattia Destro to Milan?
Roma's striker Mattia Destro could be headed to the Rossoneri, with the clubs reportedly agreeing to a loan with an option to buy for the 23 year-old Italian international.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Mattia Destro could join the Rossoneri for the remainder of the season for €700k with an option to buy in the summer for a fee in the range of €15-16M. However, Destro seems to only want a permanent transfer or an obligation to buy.
Destro's fate could be decided any minute now as it's up to him if he wants to join Milan on the aforementioned terms. What we do know is that he prefers Milan over Tottenham, who were also reportedly interested in bringing him to White Hart Lane.
Mattia Destro, if he was to arrive, would finally give Milan a viable hit-man up top that could inject some offense into a team so thirsty for goals. The Inzaghi led club has scored just nine goals in the past 10 matches which is simply inexcusable for a side looking to make a run at European play.
Expect more news soon on the status of Destro's potential move to Milan.
